As Undersecretary of Defense for President Biden, Gil Cisneros helped lower costs for military members and ensure that military families have access to essential reproductive health care services. In Congress, Gil fought for campaign finance reform and championed gun safety legislation. From the Navy to the Gil and Jacki Cisneros Foundation which has provided educational ladders for veterans and Latino youth, Gil’s life has been one of service. I look forward to partnering with this Gil in Congress to move California and our country forward.
